Scale Armor Shirt

This has to be one of the coolest things ever made. It took me over 250 hours of work. Currently it contains about 8000 small scales all together, with about 1000 each in the sleeves. All of the scales are held together with over 17000 small split rings. Next, I will lengthen the sleeves until they reach the wrists. And maybe later on add some form of pants. As always, everyone who sees this in person wants to try it on. Here are a few pictures of people having fun in it. (click on images to enlarge)

"Bucket" Helmet

This was a project that I made for someone a while back. (they didn't want their face online, so I edited it out) I call it the bucket helmet because it is so stiff that it can barely bend. It weighs about 7lbs, and is made out of stainless steel rings, with a bronze trim.

Normal Coif

This was a project that I made out of frustration. When I first started out stuff like this was a hobby to me. I always wanted to make a coif like this. But there were no kits or instructions anywhere on the web. I looked and looked but could never find anything decent. I did find several instructions, but all had 1 or 2 blury pictures, and about 6 lines of directions. To help out people starting out I decided to make my own quality kit. I spent a full day making the coif shown at left. I took lots of pictures at every step of the way, and later compiled them into a kit. If you are interested in making your own, you can find that kit here.
